The chairman and secretary of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) have been transferred following the controversy surrounding the board’s on-screen marking (OSM) portal. According to available information, the transfers took place after the government intervened amid concerns and disputes linked to the functioning of the OSM portal. The action affects the two senior-most administrative officials of the board and comes in the backdrop of the ongoing row over the evaluation system managed through the digital marking platform.
